Butter lover here. I CANNOT EVEN BEGIN TO EXPLAIN how buttery and savory their plain pancakes are. Will definitely return in the near future....

Great food, fast and friendly service. Hash browns are actually hone fries but easily some of the best I’ve ever tasted. Hungry Family of 5 for under $50. We will be back.

My absolute favorite place to eat for breakfast in N. Myrtle. Waitresses are fast and kind (Sue in particular was very sweet and happy to serve us, despite our having gotten there an hour before close.) Pancakes are super fluffy and VERY filling, and they nailed my eggs when I requested them scrambled hard, which seems to be a rarity amongst breakfast places. Sausage patties were perfect and had some kick, and the waffles are golden and crisp and straight up comforting.The dining room is very quaint and cute and suits the feel of the experience perfectly, like the type of place you frequented as a kid. I'd discourage super huge groups, but 6 people or less will have no issues getting in and out, but note the wait times will probably be fairly long if you go at peak times. This place is absolutely worth the wait however. You won't be disappointed!

I’m not sure where all the good reviews come from, but the food was NOT good at all. We frequent Myrtle beach and this is the worst breakfast place we’ve been to. The fruit is frozen and comes from a bag, the meat was burnt. The waitress and staff were friendly though.

If you wish to eat here you must go between 6am and 2pm as they close for the day at 2. Great breakfast items! Always have good food and a nice wait staff. Look for a 10 % off your entire party's order coupon in one of the local brochures like Sunny Day or Myrtle Beach or Monster

Hands down the best blueberry pancakes! The omelets are equally amazing. Portions are large and served hot. Service is excellent.

I'll give this place three stars, mainly because our waitress, Brenda, was exceptional. I had forgotten what it was like to have a southern hospitality waitress who took care of your table because it had been so long since I had one. She knew what we needed and brought it to us before we knew and was as sweet as tea while doing it. The coffee was strong from the coffee machine not being thoroughly cleaned in too long. The pancakes were good, but not great. It would not be hard to find a better breakfast in the area.

Two coffee mugs at the table had some kind of wet syrup still on them. Tables were very close together. Difficult to get the attention of our server, but probably not her fault because she was likely having to cover too many tables. Overall, food was good and staff was friendly, but plenty of room for improvement w.r.t. cleanliness and attentiveness.

Tasty breakfast. I had the hot smoked sausage. It came with 2 eggs and fried potatoes like my mom used to make. Next time I'll ask for them crispy though. The staff was very nice and our server, Angela, was a sweetheart. My wife got the pork chops and they were kind of bland. All in all, a great dining experience.

Awesome food and awesome prices!! Being a local and this place being within walking distance from our home is so convenient. The servers and staff are very friendly!! Our favorite spot to eat!! Definitely recommend!!

Excellent fluffy and light blueberry pancake, together with bacon and eggs. GG has an extensive menu, so after checking it out, we simply told our server what particular items we wanted to eat and she helped figure out the least expensive way to give us the combinations we wanted.

This is and always will be my #1 spot to eat. Very clean, very friendly staff, very fast, and very good food at a great value. If you come to North Myrtle Beach, or live here and you haven't gone to the Golden Griddle... YOU. ARE. MISSING. OUT.

Best pancakes on the beach, if not the state

Every bite was delicious! I had a lovely Western omelette, hash browns, and pancakes were light and fluffy.

Amazing breakfast! Worth the wait! The omelettes are over-the-top for birthday the pancakes are great to the service is top of the line I got a chance to speak with the wonderful owners also. We really enjoy this place! Cant wait to go back!

Although the place was packed, we only had to wait for 15-20 minutes, and boy was it worth the wait! The pancakes truly are delicious. Service is fast and with a smile. Your coffee cup or water glass was always refilled quickly. We knew there were tons of pancake houses on Main St., but it was such a great deal for awesome food and service, we came back the next day!

the BEST chocolate pancakes I've EVER had. It may look simple on the outside, but Golden Griddle is a MUST-stop for breakfast! Biscuits and gravy were also delicious!

Our waitress Brenda was wonderful but the lady at the register was carrying on a conversation with the hostess and was cussing and talking bad about someone which was a big turn away for us. Food was good

Waitress was okay. Did bump into my girlfriend, and did not apologize. Food was served on chip plates. That's a big No and health issues. And when you sit down, look up and see all the dust on vents , ceiling, and fans! That is falling on your food. The health department need to be called in and have this place Inspected!

The good Google ratings are deserved. Attentive service paying attention to detail (like suggesting milk in a cup with a lid... things when you're focused on your child that slip the mind.) Belgian waffles were cooked golden and wife's waffles cooked well. Quick to clean plates and with the bill.

Love this place. Eat there at least once per yearly visit to North Myrtle Beach. Tried to visit today but they were not COVID compliant. Every booth and table was full. Very disappointing.

The best breakfast EVER!!!! Their good is fresh from the kitchen homemade. The staff is so sweet and family oriented. The welcome you in like home. Anything you order will come out The Best!!! The prices are also reasonable. The waitress will help you select the best meal combination do you don’t break the bank and your plates come full of food. You will see plenty of pancake places on the streets of Myrtle Beach but I promise you that can’t compare to this one. They do close early and they do fill up quick so go early. There is extra parking across the street, you may need it. Try the chocolate chip pancakes, do yummy!!!!!

Visiting from West Virginia, how fun to see a breakfast restaurant from... West Virginia! All kinds of breakfast options and they all looked delicious. It looks like it is wildly popular because there was a line to get in, but people generally got seated quickly and served quickly as well. Just a nice homey place full of comfort breakfast foods.

Great experience with a phenomenal staff. We enjoyed the breakfast specials and they were priced great. I had the steak special and as everyone knows cooking a thin cut of steak to perfection can be difficult, but mine came out medium rare as requested. We will be going back for sure.

A nice place for breakfast.Service is prompt and prices are very reasonable. The omelets have plenty of ingredients, as the vegetables were brimming in my wife's omelet. The pancakes are nice, fluffy and come with warm syrup.Overall, a reliable breakfast with fair prices.You can't go wrong here.

On vacay from Raleigh NC. Came here 3 times for breakfast and had AWESOME service every time. Great prices, great food, and great hospitality. Very nice people. This is one of those places that does breakfast right. The pancakes are fluffy, eggs made right and fresh hot coffee. Service was on point and we will be returning.
